 Upgrading
to LionClock 3.xx from older versions of our software
We are glad to inform you
that a new version 3.xx of LionClock was recently released. The
third generation of our software, formerly known under a different name, introduces full support for Windows
Vista as well as many other
improvements that have been requested by loyal users like you. The
new version is a direct result of careful analysis of feedback we have
received since the last release. That is why, we
expect the new version to become even more useful and user-friendly
than the original.
If you are afraid of
changes, let us assure you that there is nothing to worry about. Most
new features are optional. That means that, when you initially install
LionClock 3.xx, it will behave like the previous version. During the
setup process it will
import your existing employees and options so you don't have to re-enter
anything
manually. Most importantly, the new version also gives you important
improvements and new features:

How to
Upgrade to Version 3.xx
If you purchased a license
after
March 31, 2007 you are entitled to a free upgrade to LionClock version
3.xx. If this is your case, then we already added your new version 3.xx
license to your download account. You should be able to download the new version setup file from
our Online
Customer Support Area without having to contact us.
If you purchased a license before March 31, 2007
you can purchase the upgrade at a discounted price only if you currently
own version 2.xx. Version 1.xx users no longer qualify for a
discount. In both cases, you can purchase version 3.xx by logging to our
Online Customer Support
Area. There, you will see a drop-down box with available upgrade
options. Simply choose "LionClock v3.xx" or "LionClock v3.xx (for
existing users)", choose "ClickBank" if you would like to pay with a credit card and click Purchase.

Select

You need to purchase a
bigger license package to upgrade to version 3. For example, if
you have a 5-workstations package (previous version), then in order to upgrade to version
3.xx you need to purchase a 10-workstations
package (version 3).
To do that, select
"Upgrade to LionClock Pro v3 for 10 workstations", choose "ClickBank" if you would like to pay with a credit card and click Purchase.

After purchasing, you will need to download and install new setup file(s). If you are using LionClock Pro, both the Server and all Clients have to be upgraded. By default, the new version is installed into a different location on your hard drive allowing you to use the old version as well. Once you feel you
no longer need the old version, you should uninstall it.
