This tab allows you to adjust employee permissions and set a new admin password.

Change administrator password
You should only use these fields when you need to change the admin password. By default, these fields are empty, meaning that the password was not modified. For better security, we recommend that you change you admin password every 3-4 months.

Record IP address of Client workstation
This option instructs LionClock Pro 2011 to record the IP address of the workstation that was used to clock IN/OUT in form of a punch comment. The best way to view these comments, is to create a single payroll report using the Commented Time report style.

Example: When this option is activated, someone who used a LionClock Client on a workstation with an IP number of 192.168.0.15 will be recorded as:

IN Feb 23 7:57 PM 192.168.0.15

If the recorded IP number doesn't match with the computer used by this employee, there is a possibility he might be cheating by asking someone else to punch for him.

Force all Clients to synchronize system time with Server
The synchronization option forces all the Clients to synchronize their computer time with LionClock Server.

By default, LionClock Clients installed on your network use the system time of their computer to display the clock on the main screen. The time entries are stored on the Server and are recorded according to the Server's system time. That is why, you don't have to worry about your employees changing the system time on the Client system. They can only change the time that will be shown on the Client's screen, but not the time of the actual IN/OUT record.

Statement displayed on time reports created by employees
If you enabled the View My Hours button on your LionClock Clients, this field allows you to specify a statement that will be displayed on reports generated by employees themselves. You can use it to display a disclaimer or any other important message or tell the employee who he should contact if the time entries need to be corrected.

Activating View My Hours button
If you would like your employees to be able to see their own time entries, you should consider activating these options. This way, they can view their reports to make sure everything is accurate and even print them.

To differentiate between reports created by the manager and the employees themselves, consider adding a warning statement (disclaimer) at the bottom of such reports.
